KRISIUN Begins Recording New Album With Producer ERIK RUTAN

March 22, 2015

Brazilian death metal veterans KRISIUN have entered Mana Recording in Saint Petersburg, Florida to begin recording their new album. The production on the CD is being handled by Erik Rutan, who has previously worked with such bands as CANNIBAL CORPSE, NILE, SIX FEET UNDER, MALEVOLENT CREATION, MADBALL and AGNOSTIC FRONT. He also produced KRISIUN's "Conquerors Of Armageddon" album back in 1999, the most successful CD KRISIUN has released to date.

KRISIUN's latest album, "The Great Execution", was released on October 31, 2011 in Europe and November 1, 2011 in North America via Century Media Records. The cover artwork was created by Japanese artist Toshihiro Egawa who has been doing tons of great designs for acts like SUICIDE SILENCE, HEAVEN SHALL BURN, DEVOURMENT and DYING FETUS, among others.

"The Great Execution" was made available as a limited-edition digipack including a re-recorded version of the classic KRISIUN song "Black Force Domain" as a bonus track, as a 180-gram gatefold vinyl and as a digital download.

KRISIUN in October released a video for the song "Blood Of Lions", taken from "The Great Execution". According to the group, the clip featured "live footage shots from most of the festivals and clubs we played on [the most recent] tour, just for you to feel the live energy of the band, from big festivals to small clubs."
